About

Thank you for taking the time to visit my website

I am a professional Health Economist working as a consultant and academic researcher. I hold a BSc in Pharmacology and Physiology and an MSc in Cell Biology, both from The University of Manchester, and an MSc in Health Economics from The University of Birmingham.

My academic research interests lie in studying the economics of advanced therapy medicinal products. My doctoral research at University College London focusses on understanding the value, from a societal perspective, of advanced therapies with the aim of informing health technology assessment of these transformative medicines. I regularly blog on my research as well as other key topics in Health Economics. Check out my publication record using the following ORCID link: https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9631-0470.

Beyond my research interests, I work as a consultant in Health Economics; my expertise lies in health technology assessment including economic modelling, scientific advice, and more strategic work streams.

I have a passion for helping people understand Health Economics, its importance, and how it impacts their lives which was a key reason for starting this blog.

The blog posts are my personal reflections aimed at the general reader as well as professional Health Economists and are intentionally designed for easy reading.
